Daniel James Williams III

Daniel James Williams III, a man of great love, laughter, and faith, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2024. He was born on September 14, 1964, in Washington, DC. Daniel, known for his endearing personality traits of being loving, funny, and deeply devoted to his family, touched lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his charming character, Daniel proudly served in the United States Army, embody courage and dedication throughout his military service. His love for sports shone through in his unwavering support for the Washington Redskins. However, it was his spiritual connection that truly defined him.

As he embarked on his final journey from this world to the next, Daniel was surrounded by those he cherished most, finding solace in their presence. His departure leaves a void in the hearts of his family and friends who will forever treasure the memories created with him.

A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate the beautiful life of Daniel James Williams III will be held on August 3, 2024, at NEWLIFE Church in La Plata. The service will begin at 9:00 A.M. for visitation, and services to begin at 10:00 A.M. The family request that flowers be sent directly to the church on the day of service no later than 8:00 A.M.

Burial is scheduled for Thursday Aug. 22, 2024 at 11:15 A.M. We are asking all who will be in attendance to be to the cemetery no later than 11:00 A.M.

While we mourn the loss of a remarkable soul in Daniel James Williams III, we also rejoice in having been part of his extraordinary journey on earth. May his legacy of love and faith continue to inspire all those who knew him. Rest in peace, dear Daniel.
