Denise Corliss Keys, affectionately known as Neicy, was born on November 22, 1960, in Washington, DC, to the late John Theordore Proctor & Mary Callie Proctor.
Neicy was educated through Charles County Public Schools, graduating from Thomas Stone High School. She held various jobs, she worked at Beretta USA, Gensis Healthcare of Waldorf, Maryland, Gensis Healthcare of La Plata, Maryland and University Medical Charles Regional Medical Center located in La Plata, Maryland, as a housekeeper and nursing aide. During her employment with Gensis in La Plata, Maryland, she met the love of her life, Ricardo Keys, and married him on November 22, 1996.
Neicy’s favorite color was blue; however, on Sundays, she bled burgundy and gold all day. She was a die-hard Washington REDSKINS fan. Neicy enjoyed venturing to Dover Downs, Friday trips to Walmart and the Dollar Store in King George with her hubby. She enjoyed family gatherings at GRANDMA’S house, taking coins from her loved ones. Despite everything else, Neicy loved her sons David, Derrick, Buck, Rico, and Ricardo, Jr.
Neicy was preceded in death by her parents, John Theordore Proctor & Mary Callie Proctor; and her grandson Christian M. Proctor. She survived by her husband Ricardo; her children David (Margarita), Derrick (Tiffany), Charles/ Buck (Debra), Rico (Stacy), Ricardo, Jr.; 18 grandchildren; her siblings Marshall (Gwen), Sheila (Myron), Marie and Debbie (Avery); her brother-n- law Renaldo; and two sisters-n-laws Terawana and Ernestine; mother-n-law Mary Keys; her godchildren Anthony Proctor and Marcus Gordon; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church
Public Viewing starts at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. The family request that flowers are sent directly to the church on the day of service no later than 9:00 A.M.
Interment immediately to follow.
Location of Interment will be at Saint Peter's Catholic Church Cemetery.
