Edith Linda McLeod, a beloved soul who graced this world with her presence, has left behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her. Born on November 11, 1961, in Maryland, Edith's journey on this earth came to a poignant close on April 17, 2024.

Edith was a woman of unwavering faith, whose devotion to God guided her every step. Her gentle and nurturing spirit touched the lives of many, earning her the titles of a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She exemplified compassion in all that she did and left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her devotion to family and faith, Edith found joy in the simplicity of life's pleasures. She used to play softball with vigor and enthusiasm, embracing the camaraderie and competition it brought. Her love for cowboy hats and boots reflected her free spirit and penchant for adventure.

As we bid farewell to Edith Linda McLeod, we take solace in the memories we shared with her and the lessons she imparted through her acts of kindness and love. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will continue to inspire us to live with grace, compassion, and unwavering faith.

The funeral service honoring Edith's remarkable life will be held at God's House of Refuge in Lexington Park on May 11, 2024. May we gather together to celebrate a life well-lived, and a soul deeply loved. Rest in peace, dear Edith.

Friends and family will gather at God's House of Refuge on Sat. May 11, 2024, for a 11 a.m. funeral service. The location for service is 46694 Midway Drive, Lexington Park, Maryland. Interment will be private. Please if you are sending flowers have them delivered to the church no later than 9 a.m. on the day of service.
