Megan Jeanine Young

Megan Jeanine Young, an incredible, phenomenal, fabulous, and showstopping woman, passed away on December 12, 2023. She was born on February 7, 1979, and her departure has left a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Megan's vibrant and lively personality made her the life of every party. With her captivating presence and infectious laughter, she could light up any room. She possessed an unrivaled ability to bring joy to those around her through her talents in singing and dancing. Her melodious voice could enchant even the most hardened souls, leaving everyone in awe of her immense talent. Whenever music filled the air, Megan would take center stage, captivating everyone with her electrifying performances. Her graceful dance moves transported spectators to a world of beauty and grace.

In addition to being a true entertainer, Megan had a particular fondness for card games. Countless hours were spent engaging in spirited competitions with friends and family. Her quick wit and strategic mind made her a formidable opponent at any card table. Megan truly understood the value of camaraderie and found great joy in sharing these moments of friendly rivalry.

Megan's zest for life was contagious. She embraced every opportunity to explore new adventures and create lasting memories. Whether it was traveling to far-off destinations or indulging in the simple pleasures of life's everyday wonders, she never missed a chance to experience the extraordinary.

Her deep-rooted love for humanity encompassed not only those closest to her but also extended to philanthropic endeavors that touched countless lives. Megan consistently demonstrated compassion towards others and would readily lend a helping hand whenever it was needed.

On Saturday December 23, 2023, "It's An All White Affair", please join us as we pay tribute to Megan. Her final request was for everyone to wear all white to her home going celebration. Family and friends will gather at Holy Angels Church located at 21340 Colton Point Road, Avenue, MD 20609 at 9:30 a.m. for visitation, Funeral Mass will start at 11 a.m. Internment to follow at Sacred Heart cemetery 23080 Maddox Road, Bushwood, MD 20618

Megan leaves behind a legacy that will forever be etched in the hearts of her loved ones. Her spirit, zest for life, and dazzling presence will continue to inspire those who knew her. Although she may no longer grace this earthly plane with her vivacity, her memory will live on through the laughter, joy, and love that she shared with so many.
