Walter Smith, Jr., a beloved soul who touched the lives of many, passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 4. He was a sweet, loving individual and a fierce protector of those dear to his heart. Walter was known for his adventurous spirit, always seeking to be out and about exploring the world around him.

Born on August 8, 1980, in Washington, DC, Walter grew up to be a of many talents and passions. He received his high school diploma from Charles County Public Schools and went on to embrace a life filled with creativity and joy. Walter had a knack for building custom bicycles, finding peace as he rode through the streets he loved. Music spoke to his soul, and skating brought him immense happiness; these simple pleasures defined him in the eyes of his family and friends.

As we mourn the loss of Walter, we remember his warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Walter is survived by his loving family members and friends who cherished him deeply. Though he may no longer be physically present among us, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew him.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of Walter Smith, Jr. will be held on May 24, 2024 at Heritage Memorial Cemetery LLC in Waldorf, Maryland. The service will commence at 12:00 PM as we gather to bid farewell to a remarkable man who brought light into our lives. For those who would like to send flowers please have them send to the funeral home, on the day of service no later than 10 a.m. 

In the wake of this unexpected loss, let us find solace in the memories we shared with Walter and hold onto the love he bestowed upon us. May his legacy be a beacon of hope and a reminder of the beauty that exists within each moment we are given.
